What you get: one MP4 per video page, plus images

Pinterest's short videos are idea pins (the app's Reels-style feed). Their JSON lists only a streaming playlist; the tool finds the matching 720p MP4 and checks that it exists. Carousel pins with several slides give one download per slide, video or picture, up to 20.

Which app opens it on Windows?

Microsoft Photos or Windows Media Player (MPEG-4 H.264 supported).

Keep it with your photos and media

File Explorer's Quick access pins Downloads, Pictures, Videos and Music on Windows 11 22H2 and later, so dragging the file between them takes one step.

Good to know on Windows

Microsoft's own pages disagree on MP4 in Windows Media Player: the troubleshooting page lists MPEG-4 (H.264) as supported, an older file-types page does not. If one player refuses the file, open it in the Photos app.

If the download does not show up on Windows

  • Check Downloads in File Explorer first: Open File Explorer › Downloads (pinned in Quick access on Windows 11 22H2 and later), or use the downloads button in Edge.
  • Make sure the pin is public. Private pins and secret boards cannot be read without logging in, and this tool never asks for your Pinterest password.
  • Links expire after one hour. If a button stops working, paste the pin link again.
  • A pin.it short link must be complete: copy it again from Share › Copy link.
